I did my weekly weigh-in this morning and I am down from 107.4kgs on my birthday on Sunday to 107kgs and down from 107.5kgs on my last weigh in so 0.5kgs for the week which is pretty good as the only things that I have been doing are intermittent fasting, not eating takeout and cutting out cordial and only drinking water this week. I am still 0.5kgs heavier than I was at the end of 2022 so I still need to start putting the work in to start dropping weight.
Talking about water my SodaStream arrived this morning so I will clean it on my lunch hour and then I can start drinking fizzy water to make it a bit more interesting than just water all the time 🙂
I am on a half day at work today so I will try and get the flat sorted as it is a mess again at the moment due to the garage move, furniture painting and flat re-organisation so it needs to get sorted as it is driving me nuts!!! The only room in the house that is not a total mess is the kitchen and I have also been keeping on top of the washing up and wiping down which makes it much more inviting to go in to and cook in. I am also going to re-organise the lounge while I clean it as I need to setup my gym area ASAP so that I can start working out for both weight losing and sanity reasons!
I also need to organise the garage as it is a mess as I didn’t have time to organise it as well as I liked on Monday when I was finishing the garage move and I also needed the shelving from the lounge which was being used as a TV Stand and was waiting on me to finish painting the Chest of Draws that were in the garage until Monday. The chest of draws are now being used as the TV Stand and I will take the shelves back into the Garage and then get some of the boxes on the shelves to get the garage more organised!
I also have to finish building the GT to use as my ride around/Swytch bike when the Swytch kit finally arrives 🙂 I am also going to use the bike on my smart trainer for now as it is more upright so puts less stress on my shoulder than the road bike does so it will make training a lot more enjoyable than it would be on the road bike.
I still haven’t bough any takeout this year although it was a struggle to not get it yesterday as I had a really mental first day back at work so I really couldn’t be bothered to cook but I talked myself out of getting takeout and cooked instead. I am running out of food in the fridge apart from Huel so I plan to try and finish off the Huel and the rest of the food in the fridge/ freezer to not do any shopping until the weekend when my Son is here and will need food. This is partly to not waste the stuff in the fridge but also to not spend any more money until I have to so that I can start to reach my savings goals for the month as I am in debt this month already so any extra money will help.
