This morning I woke up and did my weekly weigh in and I am back up to 108kgs from 107.6kgs last week so I have put on almost 1/2 a kg but I suspect that it is muscle from all the riding yesterday as my legs and arms are visibly more toned today.

Injury and health wise I have no ill effects from all the riding yesterday which is a good indicator that I am ready to start riding more! I also feel much happier and better in myself today so I definitely want to get on the bike more. I don’t want too much too soon so for now I will stick to just riding around town on the jump bike and maybe along the Bath to Bristol cycle track as well. I think it is better to ride the Jump bike at the moment as the upright riding position and front suspension mean that my wrist and shoulder are put under way less stress than riding the road bike or a BMX.

I plan to start riding the jump bike to the gym and back in the mornings to get a decent warm up in before the gym and also to get there and back way faster than walking and having way more fun too.

I am off work today and have to pop over to Curtis Bikes to pick up my Dad’s hoodie and another t-shirt for me so I will try and make a start with the gym tomorrow morning. I wasn’t able to go yesterday as I worked from 5am until 8pm so this morning I just chilled to recover. On a positive note I did get my 1 hr’s exercise in and also walked around a lot as well (8451 steps) so the day could have gone worse.

I will have no excuse tomorrow morning a I will mostly be building bikes again this afternoon/ evening as my son’s Airdrop fade is arriving today.
