As I finished my steps by around 23:00 last night I wasn’t able to sleep until about 2am so getting up early was not an option!
When I woke up my feet were really hurting after the walking last night so I decided to take it easy this morning and get some steps in in the afternoon-evening instead.
I did a weigh in and just walking 2 days has dropped my weight from 108.7kgs on Wednesday to 107.9kgs this morning so almost a kg lost in just 2 days of walking so I think that it is definitely the way to go to keep my weight in check. It is also making me feel better mentally so its definitely a win win. I also chatted all of the walk with my son which was another bonus of walking everyday as I get to spend at least an hour a day with him not on the computer so it is more quality time for both of us 🙂
This afternoon myself and my son walked to a friends house and back which brought my steps total to 13020 steps for the day. I am a bit worried as I have a really bad stabbing pain in the arch of my right foot today which got slightly better when I walked but worse again as soon as I stopped! We walked almost 10km (9.4km)Â The walk to the to my friends house was a bit more strenuous as it was up hill so we were only in the Fat Burn zone for 41% of the time where as the walk home we were in the Fat Burn Zone for 88% of the time as it was down hill!
Hopefully it will get better on its own so that I don’t have to take any days off!
