Crashed at training tonight

I had coaching tonight so I didn’t go to the gym this morning as I was feeling a bit off yesterday so I decided to sleep in and rest up for coaching.

All was going well until the last drill when I went over the gate and landed on my head in a pile on the other side of the gate!

I came out of it pretty well considering, I have a grazed knee and elbow, jacked up left wrist and I am now getting a headache and  bit of dizzy ness and a bit of blurred vision as well to top it off!

I am hoping that I will be feeling a bit better tomorrow so that I can go to Wednesday night racing at Bristol  tomorrow evening to at least get some gates in!

I have decided to give my Speedco another go so I am building it up now to try out tomorrow afternoon at Bath and tomorrow night at Bristol to see if I like it more than the S&M before racing at the weekend. If I don’t then I can always build up the S&M ready to race Sunday anyway. To be honest I am just racing the regional to learn the track for the National in a couple of weeks so I am not really bothered how well I do so I may just race the Speedco anyway to test it out as I have never raced it so I may as well 🙂

I have just started building the Speedco and remembered that I can’t build it as I don’t have a headset for the bike so I am just seeing if I can get one from wiggle or amazon to get here tomorrow. So there are no cheap tapered headsets so I will have to wait until the 15th to try out the Speedco again, this means that I will basically have to wait until after the Peckham National as there will not be enough time to get used the to Speedco before the National.
