Missed Gym again

I woke up at 5:30 as planned but needed to go into work early to get some tasks done before 7:30 am so I missed my gym session again this morning.

I am planning to do the workout from the Knee Ability Zero book that I bought from Amazon last week. I want to try the Knee Ability Zero workout to see if I can sort out my chronic knee issues which have stopped me training consistently for years now. I think today I will try the Knee Ability Zero workout and then Saturday morning early I will go to the gym and do a normal leg workout on the machines to start building leg strength as well as rehabbing my knees. This book is written by Ben Patrick who is better known as the Knees over Toes Guy on youtube

I have already subscribed to his training program but as I am focussed on training for the worlds I decided to cancel that and just use the book for now as it was £15 one off payment instead of £40 a month for the program.

I am thinking that I will do one workout from the Knee Ability Zero workout (KAZ) on Wednesday mornings and then on my second gym workout of the week I will do a normal gym session so that I get the best of both worlds before the Worlds. After the Worlds I will most likely follow the Knee Ability Zero program more closely and progress to the ATG program once I am in good enough condition to do it. I will follow the stretching portion of the KAZ program on my stretching days all the way through and I really need to improve my ankle and knee flexibility to get faster on the bike and not get injured all the time!

The book basically has all the same information as the ATG program so I am not losing anything apart from access to the video’s and trainers but that is fine. There is another book that covers the ATG program when I am ready to, called ATG for Life which I will buy when I am ready!
