Woke up and did a weigh in and I have gone back up to 108.6kgs so I have put back on exactly 1kg from this time last week (107.6 kgs last week and 108.6kgs this morning!) but more upsetting is that I have put on 2.5kgs from last Tuesday after doing full laps last Monday afternoon!!!

More upsetting still is that at this moment in time I have gained 0.7kgs from the start of the year 🙁

I have had a quiet week training wise as I have been feeling a bit off so have been sleeping a lot and not feeling like riding my bike either! I have also been too lazy to cook properly so I have been eating a lot of takeout and also drinking a lot of coke again!

My main goals from next week is number 1 stop drinking Coca Cola again, Number 2 go to the gym twice a week before work and do sprints twice a week before work too. This week I have been waking up at 5:30 and then not training and wasting time on my phone until work and then after work I don’t really train either as I am tired and lazy! I also want to get at least one long road ride in a week to try and build my base fitness up and try and drop weight before the Worlds!

I keep planning to workout in my lunch hour but I either end up wasting my lunch hours on my phone, watching TV or not taking a break at all!!! So for the next 2 days before the National in Cumbernauld,  I plan to take my lunch break and go for a 30 minute walk to get some exercise and also destress a bit and clear my head! My idea is to get into the habit of going for a walk in my lunch break every day then I am getting a bunch of steps in as well as becoming more active and hopefully losing a bit of weight! I think 30 minutes is a good amount of time as I can get a fair bit of walking in but also have enough time left to make some food and eat before I have to start work again so its a win win! I want to keep the walking up at weekends as well so that it becomes a habit and therefore becomes consistent! I will also do 5-10 minutes of stretching from the ATG system to start increasing my flexibility as well.

As I off to Cumbernauld on Friday morning there is no point starting with the gym and sprints before the weekend so I might as well just get started with the walking this week and then add the other training starting next week!

I have coaching tomorrow night and then Wednesday night I will most likely go to Bristol for gates or Racing (Most likely not going to race as I want to be fresh for the weekend but I may feel like racing when I get there! I will see) I also need to pop to Crucial BMX and pick up my 41t chain ring so that I can change the gearing to try it out before the weekend! Thursday night I will have to go to my parents house and pick up their car and then pack ready to leave early Friday morning so I will have a rest day it is going to be a long hard weekend I think with a 7.5 hr or more drive then training then racing for 2 days and then a 7.5 hr or more drive home Sunday night 🙁 I will most definitely have to take a rest day on Monday that’s for sure!
