Left wrist still bad :-(

Left wrist still bad 🙁

Woke up this morning and my wrist was hurting more than ever 🙁 I left my wrist brace on over night and had to take it off over night as it was moving my wrist out of position which was causing the increased pain I think. I have also had to swap my mouse back to the right hand side of my keyboard as I can’t use it with my wrist as it is.

I had to take the train to London this morning so I didn’t have a chance to try and ride a bike anyway but I wouldn’t have wanted to anyway!

While I was on the train I got the message that the new TLD 5205 wrist guard was being delivered between 11:00-13:00 today so I had to hope that they would leave it in a safe place which they did 🙂 I now have the wrist support on and the wrist is totally immobilised which seems to be reducing the pain a whole lot:

PHOTO 2022 04 29 15 13 07I am going to use this for a few days and see how I get on with it but I will most definitely use it to ride the road bike and see how it goes! I am not sure what is going on tomorrow as I may have to go to the airport to pick up my Ex Wife and Son from the airport so I may not have time but I will most definitely start on Sunday as  I need to start my 1 hour a day road bike for 31 days in May. This will be more important now as I am not sure if I will be able to ride either of the BMX bikes at the track at least for this week the way the wrist is feeling! So upping the road bike should help me keep my current level of fitness or improve it and also drop a bunch of weight! I also plan to get into the gym starting Monday as that is something else that I can do to work on my fitness without using the wrist too much as I am only planning to do leg weights for now anyway.

I am going to try and get up to the container later today to get the 20″ so that I can upgrade the parts and get it 100% race ready. I am going to try and practice manuals with the bad wrist as I think that it will be OK as the pain is when I over extend it so hopefully manuals will be OK!
