Went to bath this morning for a super windy gates session! Weirdly for Bath the wind was a headwind for the first straight which made gates really challenging.
I had my new to me DXR 175mm cranks on and they made a lot of difference to my snap today and I was out snapping some fast riders. Unfortunately the rest of my first straight was terrible! After about 6-7 gates we called it a day and did some wind assisted second straights which was fun and I got to practice manuals on the Steel Panther.
The paint job on the bike really looked amazing in the sun and a lot of people commented on it. I also sold the Chase frame so a good day all around. The brake on the bike was even more horrible on the track than it was doing sprints but luckily one of my friends gave me an inner cable so I will swap it out this evening to hopefully get the brake working properly as tomorrow I am planning to get up early and go to a pump track with my son to practice our manuals and pumping a bit.
