Feeling rough again today!

I woke up this morning feeling rough again and my back was really hurting so I stayed in bed until about 10:30 and then woke up and cleaned my bike and lubed it up ready to race tonight at Bristol!

Once the bike was cleaned and dried off and lubed up I made a green smoothie which is basically and apple, banana, orange and a handful of spinach all blended together with a cup of water and it makes up exactly 1 pint of smoothie which is useful 🙂

I have just finished the smoothie whilst updating this post and I am just getting ready to walk to the supermarket to get some shopping as I have pretty much nothing to eat in the house and I need to fuel up before racing this evening! Walking to the supermarket will also help with getting my steps done for the day too 🙂

So far today I have only done 1545 steps so I have a lot to do still!

I didn’t feel like walking to the supermarket today and instead stayed in bed until 4pm and then went to Bristol to race. Racing didn’t go too well as I ran out of legs after the first ump but I snapped really well and got faster to the first jump each time! The rest of the track I basically pumped all the rest of the track as my legs were hanging.

Tomorrow I need to go to the track and practice pumping as every jump I hit I lost speed which is really not good and it makes racing a bit hard!

I also need to get out on the road bike to get some leg fitness back as well as walk more as I have been really lazy over the last week!
