Haven’t ridden a bike or done any kind of exercise other than walk the dog this month due to being at work on nights on my own so no time for a break an also getting used to the changed hours etc from returning from the USA.

I woke up this morning at 2:30 AM due to the jet lag I guess so decided to get up and do something useful so I went into the garage and built up my Yess Cruiser so that I can race it this season. The frame was painted a few of months ago and it has been hanging in the garage since then.
Really happy with how it looks. Especially the custom stickers that Crucial BMX did for me. Also love the look of the Yess reach forks on the bike.
I am really happy with how it has turned out and can’t wait for the rear wheel to be ready. Basically I lent the wheel to a friend while I was in the USA as I wasn’t using it and he is going to buy my wheelset I left in the USA last time I was there when it arrives in the post.
I got an email just now that the wheels have left customs which usually means that a customs card is on its way in second class post with a charge to pay before they will release the parcel. Hopefully this can be sorted by the weekend so that the Yess can be built up totally by next week.
I have also bought a set of DXR cranks to put on the Curtis so that I can get that back together too.
At the moment I am sorting through the stuff I have to get it on the internet for sale as I have a bunch of frames and parts that I want to sell to get the money to get the parts I need for the Curtis and to get some money back.
Cruiser wise I am going to keep the S&M Steel Panther that is currently built up, the Yess and the Curtis which leaves the following bits to sell:
2 x GT Speed Series Cruiser Frames
4 x Sets of Cruiser forks
3 x sets of brakes dxr brakes
3 x seats
4 x stems
As well as this I have a load of bikes to sell too.
1 x 24″ Miraco Cruiser (I may keep this as I don’t have a park 24″ BMX)
1 x 20″ BMX (used in USA last month)
1 x 26″ Dialled 4x bike (no wheels)
At the moment I think this is it.

Took the S&M to the pump track for an hour and then went to Bath track and did some first straights.
Body felt good and my fitness has really improved over the month or so in Seattle.

Rested up all day and went to Burnham for gates tonight.
Did about 20 gates and the bike was feeling much better today. I have raised the bars a bit and it feels much better. By the end of the session I was getting back in the rhythm and was getting the manual to pedal manual on the first jump like I used to get.
Next week I will work on the rest of the first straight and then build up from there.
Really enjoyed the session and really felt good again.
The wheels and stuff arrived from the USA today so I will hopefully geting the wheel for my Yess at the weekend then I can drop it off to get built up ready to test next week at Burnham.

Not done any riding really as I have been packing ready to move this on Tuesday as my Flat should complete.
I did however take the Yess to be built up and pick it up.
Really happy with how it turned out and cant wait to ride it tomorrow to test it out. I had forgotten just how light they were. Also trying the Maxxis high roller out for a change from the power blocks. I have also gone up one tooth on the front to 37×16 to see if that helps. If not I can always drop back to 36×16 again.
I think that the bars may need to be higher as I have a feeling they are too low at the moment and will definitely cause me some back pain.
I am going to test the bike tomorrow at Bath track before work as I need to get the bike dialled before the weekend as I have a team training session at Redditch track on Sunday. I may also race Bristol on Saturday depending how I feel.
