Went to the Bath track and flushed the generator with fuel system cleaner as it had been cutting out for the last couple of weeks.
I took my cruiser with me and did a few first straights on it to get used to it again as i have been riding the 20” when I have ridden for the past couple of months.
I am still feeling off from the tonsillitis/ man flu that I have had for the past couple of weeks but I have a race tomorrow so need to get back on it.
I have decided that I need to just ride the 24″ on the track as the bike felt so odd after riding the 20″ for the last couple of months and I didn’t like that feeling. I am going to ride the 20″ on pump tracks and keep the 24″ for race tracks for now.
This means that I am going to sell my other Staystrong with park bits on it as I don’t need it and don’t have space for it either! I am also going to sell my park frame as I don’t use it at all.

Got up at 6 and drove to Bideford for the second round of the Wild West race series. I had spoken to my coach Curtis about warming up before a race and tried his method of concentrating on one straight at a time which seems to work really well.
My first Moto went well for the first 3 straights then my legs gave out and I dropped from 2nd to 4th on the last straight.
I had the second fastest 10m time with a time of 2.48 seconds which wasn’t too bad and gives me a baseline for my winter training and a basis for setting a goal as well.
In second Moto I went over the gate as the gate kept moving and I lost contact with it and my front wheel moved. The same thing happened in the 3rd Moto and the final so had a pretty crappy day really. I am now really motivated to start training properly to get in shape for next year.
