10000 Steps: Day 20 – different route

10000 Steps

Woke up with my alarm this morning at 5:30 and left the house by 5:45 and started walking. I had a new pair of Injinji socks on and for the first 5 minutes my 3rd toe on my right foot was feeling really squeezed by the sock, so much so that I had to stop and re-arrange the sock. Once I had done this I was all good.

I was planning to walk my normal route but when I got onto the Lidl bridge I decided to walk out of town along the river instead of into town via the park! I’m glad I di das someone has added  an appendage to one of my favourite graffiti pieces which made me smile 😁

I walked all the way along the river path until it finishes at the Boathouse Pub and then I went onto the bridge and then along the road and got onto the Bath to Bristol cycle path and then cut back onto the river path home.

10000 Steps

It was a nice walk which was 3.27 miles (7006 steps by the time I got home) and I was walking for 55.34 minutes.

By the end of the day I should have about 10000 steps left to complete so I can get that done with a quick walk to the shops after work.

In the end we didn’t get out of the hose before the shops shut so we did a quick loop to get over 10000 steps then made some food and went to bed.
