10000 Steps: Day 25 – Still injured
I woke up this morning later than usual as I didn’t have to up for any reason and my knee and back/neck were still hurting, not as much as yesterday but still enough for me to decide to not walk again today! I decided to do a weigh-in this morning to see how my weight loss was progressing and I was surprised that I had lost 0.4kgs since Wednesday which is pretty good. This means that I have lost 1.6kgs this month pretty much just by walking every day except yesterday (knee issues).
I have decided to do my weigh ins every Sunday now to make it easier to do as even if I am working Sundays are less crazy so I can find 5 minutes to weigh myself where as on a Wednesday things can be really crazy so it often gets missed.
I did go to the BMX track and help with the Sunday gates session but I did not even get my bike out of the car! I did a fair bit of walking at gates and I also had to walk a fair bit in the evening as I had to build some more furniture for my son at my ex wife’s house and also bring all of my son’s stuff back to their new house as it is inhabitable now that the carpets have been fitted. I also had a bunch of stuff to take from their house back to my house as they don’t have room for it and also I had a bunch of rubbish from the carpet fitting that I will take to the recycling centre at some point as I have a bunch of stuff to take too!
This meant that I ended up walking 7067 steps for the day which is not too bad considering that I didn’t go for a walk at all.
The knee felt better today but the neck was really sore and the cold wind did not help it at all!
I am going to walk to meet my son in the morning and then show him the fastest way to walk to school as he hasn’t walked from their new flat yet as he only moved back in there yesterday!
